We understand how important your Alter London purchase is, which is why we have made the delivery process as secure and easy as possible.

Our UK delivery service will ensure that your purchase is delivered and assembled in the room of your choice. For those customers not based in the UK, our global shipping service ensures your order is delivered seamlessly.

Here’s how it works.

Once your order is confirmed, you have THREE DELIVERY OPTIONS:

We offer three delivery options:

  1. Buy and collect
  2. Standard delivery
  3. Delivery and on-site installation

Buy and collect* is free and available on all of our products.

If you place your order before 5pm and the items you are ordering are in stock, you'll be able to collect them from our West London showroom after 12 noon the very next day.

If you place an order for items that have a lead time but you wish to collect them, we will contact you as soon as they are ready and you'll be able to collect from our West London showroom straight away.

How soon can you deliver?

Delivery on all our in-stock furniture pieces can be arranged in 2- 3 days in areas within easy reach of the M25.

Delivery on bespoke items will depend on current lead times, which will be advised upon purchase.

What if access to the property is a problem?

Where access is limited we are able to adjusts our designs using bolt on arms and backs for ease of delivery. Simply let us know your concerns and we will make the necessary arrangements. We are also able to arrange for items to be assembled on site. Make an enquiry.

Do you deliver on weekends?

We are able to offer a Saturday delivery service with a surcharge to our weekday delivery rate as calculated by our website. Please contact an advisor to find out more about arranging a Saturday delivery.

Is there one standard delivery charge?

No, our delivery charge is calculated according to a number of factors including location, number of items purchased, floor level and accessibility. The price will vary depending on your situation and order volume, therefore please consult with an advisor to find out what charges will be applicable to your order.

  • Delivered by DPD next working day (depending on stock availability)
  • Order must be placed by 3 p.m.
  • Delivery possible Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Free UK Delivery on purchases exceeding £50. This offer does not include furniture, lighting or mirrors.

Orders received after 3 p.m. will be shipped the following working day.

2. standard delivery

  • Delivered within 3-5 working days
  • Delivery possible Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.

3. larger furniture and bespoke orders

  • Delivered within 3-6 weeks unless otherwise notified
  • Delivery possible Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Note: Multiple consignment orders and part ship items may be subject to additional delivery charges depending on the number, size and weight of your order. This cost is automatically calculated at the checkout.

Alter London partners with professional courier companies. This means you can track your order by following the instructions sent to you by email. If you have an Alter London account, you can also track your purchase via your profile. Larger items and bespoke furniture are tracked by Alter London, and we will keep you informed about the progress of your purchase.

is everything in stock?

Alter London offers a variety of exquisite designs so you can select your perfect piece. Most items are in stock at our facility, which means you don’t have to yearn too long for your new interior masterpiece. However, if a product is out of stock we will notify you immediately, and work to secure your product as soon as possible. Also, we can supply any product from any of our suppliers so simply contact us and we’ll find what you are looking for.

Some larger items including furniture and bespoke pieces are ordered personally for you, which means delivery times are agreed with you prior to ordering. In addition, you will receive special notification about delivery time from our service team.

We pride ourselves on short lead-times and transparent communication, so if there are any delays in delivery our service team will notify you immediately and keep you informed about the progress and new delivery date.

In order to supply you with the latest design trends and seasonal accessories we constantly renew our stock selection. Consequently, some product will become unavailable, sell out or discontinue. However, if you fall head-over-heels in love with one of our products that is no longer available, please contact our service team and we’ll see what we can do to recapture your unfulfilled design love.

do i need to be present when the delivery arrives?

It is preferred that there is someone available to receive the purchase because the courier will need a signature upon delivery. If there is not anyone present upon delivery the courier will leave the package with a neighbor upon getting a signature, as well as leave a card at your delivery address. If it is not possible to get someone to sign for the delivery, the courier will return the package to the local depot and contact you to rearrange delivery. If this fails, the package will be returned to the Alter London facility and we will contact you to rearrange delivery. For larger items such as furniture, our courier will contact you in advance to arrange a suitable time when you are at the delivery location. Alter London delivers to your home, work or where it is most convenient for you.

when does deliveries take place?

Deliveries take place between 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. from Monday to Friday. Unfortunately, we cannot provide you with the exact time of day because it depends on the courier’s delivery route on the day. If your delivery is time sensitive, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate.
