Junior Buyer/Merchandiser - Accessories & Fabrics

Reporting to the CEO and Head of Business Development 

Responsibilities:

 

monitor and manage key supplier accounts.

  • Create supplier inventory, including pricelists, samples, stock levels, re-order levels etc.
  • Process and track full cycle of supplier orders in conjunction with the production and sales team.
  • Sourcing new suppliers/products, looking at price point, quality and standards.
  • Negotiate price, delivery and terms to support the business objectives.
  • Initiate and maintain detailed record systems electronically.
  • Schedule and manage deliveries and payments with other departments.
  • Maintain company culture and standard of excellence.
  • Some overseas travel may be required to support and take an active role at Trade events,
  • Buying trips and supplier meetings.
  • Identify emerging trends within the market.
  • General day to day administrative duties for maintaining this business area.
  • To develop and maintain strong working relationships with external third parties/suppliers.


Essential skills and experience:


  • Previous experience within the furniture, accessories or interior design industry is desirable.

Sales Support Executive

  • Working from our luxury offices and showrooms you will provide support to the Trade sales function of the business where ever necessary.

Creative Artworker

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist the marketing team on numerous print and digital projects.
  • Develop, edit and prepare creative artwork across a range of media including brochures, adverts, presentations, flyers, marketing emails and other digital content.
  • Photograph products in our house photo studio (training provided).
  • Image retouching.
  • Maintain the images online and offline.
  • Understand the company quality management and file management systems, and employ a methodical approach to archiving management and file organisation.


Essential skills and experience:


  • Excellent knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software - Word, Power Point and Excel.
  • MAC and PC literate.
  • A good understanding of brand and corporate guidelines.
  • Diverse portfolio that demonstrates proficiency in product retouching and creative artworking.
  • Experience in creating both printed and digital artworks and assets.
  • Experience in digital photography is highly desirable.
  • 3-4 years of experience within the creative industry, preferably in an artworker role.
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines and under pressure.
  • A good understanding of the luxury market and brands (preferably related to interior design but not required).
  • A strong desire to learn and progress within the industry.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Although not essential, a degree in a related discipline would be highly preferable.
 
 
 
Trade Sales Manager

Responsibilities:


  • Focus on developing new sales and existing key trade relationships within the high-end residential, Architects & Designers, Specifiers and Hospitality market sectors.
  • Proactively generate opportunities through existing/previous clients or new business development.
  • Identify and conduct weekly sales call opportunities.
  • Create brand and product awareness within the market.
  • Assist clients on furniture specification and project details.
  • Present proposals, written orders, communicating lead times and all relative information to client by face to face meetings, phone or email.
  • Track market environment and competition.
  • Maintain company culture and standard of excellence.

Essential skills and experience:


  • Target driven individual who is ambitious within their approach to B2B sales within the UK and possibly overseas.
